The funding partners make an important contribution to equal opportunities for children in Switzerland. Thanks to them, a:primo is able to offer its services throughout Switzerland and to continuously develop its high-quality early intervention programmes.
Federal financial assistance for family organisations since 2016
The federal government supports the association a:primo and its cooperation partners Femmes-Tische/Männer-Tische and Netzwerk Bildung und Familie as part of its financial assistance for family organisations for the years 2022-2026. The Federal Social Insurance Office regulates the allocation of funding to a:primo for regular activities, services and projects.

Development and quality assurance of a kom:pass children's rights | Child protection since 2022
For the development of a digital learning platform called «Kompass Kinderrechte» (Children's Rights Compass), a:primo is receiving financial assistance from the federal government under the Ordinance on Measures to Protect Children and Young People and to Strengthen Children's Rights for the years 2022-2026. In addition, the Paul Schiller Foundation, the Office for Youth and Career Counselling of the Canton of Zurich and the Hedwig Witkowsky Foundation are supporting the project with a substantial contribution.

Funding for ping:pong and schritt:weise locations from 2016 to 2024
Promotion of locations for ping:pong from 2019 to 2024
The Roger Federer Foundation supports the ping:pong early intervention programme run by the a:primo association for children from socially disadvantaged families at 26 locations throughout Switzerland. Since April 2019, over 400 families have received support to enable their children to get a good start in education. A grant of CHF 235,000 has been approved for this purpose. The early learning programme makes an important and lasting contribution to equal opportunities.
Funding for the operation of a:primo from 2010 to 2021
The non-profit Auridis Foundation gGmbH is committed to improving the living conditions of socially disadvantaged children in the long term. For this reason, Auridis supports non-profit organisations in disseminating proven and effective services with funding, advice and networking. The a:primo association has been supported by Auridis for over 10 years. In addition to financial support, the focus of this support has been on strategic and operational guidance and advice.
Cooperation partner of a:primo from 2019 to 2021

ALDI SUISSE supported the a:primo association as part of the «Heute für Morgen» (Today for Tomorrow) sustainability initiative on the topic of early learning and reading promotion. The aim of the cooperation was to support children from socially disadvantaged families in Switzerland and to promote reading in the spirit of «family literacy».
